Studio Pictures!

Last time I mentioned that I would post some pictures of my new typewriter, so here it is:

The one on the left is my new baby, the one on the right is my old one. As near as I can figure, there are only slight differences between the two models (aside from their more obvious typeface differences).

How ’bout some type samples?

I really should actually scan in the card to get a clearer picture, but this is what I have for now! The top line is from the new machine: typical typewriter typeface (Ooo, alliterative!) with a delicious bit of misalignment. The second line is from my old machine: an unusual script. I’m quite happy with them both. Now I’m no longer dependent on electricity when working on such a project!
